This is the Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy wiki, a fan-built guide hub for Asobo Studio's action-adventure prequel. We cover the 14-chapter campaign, combat mechanics, the Minoan sphere puzzles, every collectible, and the full cast, all tied to the game's August 27, 2026 launch. Here's your map of the wiki.

What This Wiki Covers

The wiki is organized around the things players actually search for:

  • Gameplay, parry, dodge, kick, and Critical Strike combat, plus the skill tree.
  • Walkthrough, the full 14-chapter route and boss strategies.
  • How Long to Beat, real playtime estimates.
  • Reviews, Metacritic scores and Steam reception.
  • Characters, Sophia, Leni, Theseus, and the series' legacy cast.
  • Platforms, PS5, Game Pass, and PC system requirements.

The Game at a Glance

Resonance is set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem. You play Sophia, a fierce young plunderer who flees Venice after a heist goes wrong and lands on Minotaur Island, hunting the secrets of her past. The story runs on two timelines: Sophia's medieval world and Theseus, a Minoan warrior fighting the ancient evil behind the curse.

The Macula, the force behind the rats and the curse of the earlier games, gets its origin story here, making Resonance essential lore for series fans.

Core Systems Explained

The wiki's most-referenced systems:

  • Combat, color-coded enemy attacks (parry yellow, dodge red), stagger meters, and Critical Strikes.
  • Skill tree, Resonance Points, fully refundable outside combat.
  • Minoan sphere, a light-manipulation tool for the game's signature puzzles.
  • Collectibles, Charms (six types), Blades, and Artefacts.

The full chapter list, in order: Blood Ties, Felons, Those Before Us, From Hell It Rose, Desolation It Wrought, What Lies Beneath, Death It Sowed, Resonance, Night Has Come, Parallel Paths, Patera, Fading Light, As One, and What Remains.
