Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy Amazon: PS5 & Xbox
Updated
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is available on Amazon as a physical disc. The PlayStation 5 version sells for $59.99, with an Xbox Series X version also listed. It's published in physical form by Deep Silver, rated M (Mature), and has been selling steadily since launch. Here are the details.
Amazon Price and Availability
The PS5 physical edition is listed at $59.99 on Amazon.com, matching the typical price of a new console release. The listing shows "800+ bought in past month", indicating healthy demand. An Xbox Series X version is also available on the same product page's platform selector.
Free returns and standard Prime shipping apply as with most Amazon video game listings.
What You Get
The physical box contains the standard edition of the game, the full 14-chapter campaign, Sophia's story, the Minoan sphere puzzles, and the dual-timeline narrative with Theseus. There's no exclusive Amazon-specific content advertised; the pre-order Heritage Pack DLC was a digital bonus and is generally not included in the physical box (unconfirmed, check your order).
Physical vs. Digital Pricing
There's a price split worth knowing:
- Steam digital, $49.99.
- Amazon physical (PS5), $59.99.
The physical copy costs about $10 more than the digital PC version. On console, digital storefronts (PlayStation Store, Xbox) list their own pricing, which may differ from Amazon's physical price.
Publisher and Rating
The physical edition's brand is listed as Deep Silver, a publishing label under the Plaion/Embracer umbrella that handles physical distribution for Focus Entertainment titles in some regions. The game is rated M for Mature due to frequent violence and blood.
What About the Collector's Box?
The Collector's Box (figurine, SteelBook, art prints, replica ring) is a separate product sold through Neamedia Icons, not a standard Amazon listing. If you only see the standard edition on Amazon, that's expected, the Collector's Box is sold directly through the partner's shop.
Should You Buy on Amazon?
If you want a physical disc for PS5 or Xbox, Amazon is a straightforward option at $59.99 with fast shipping. If you're on PC or prefer digital, Steam at $49.99 is cheaper. Either way, the game itself is identical, the choice comes down to physical vs. digital preference and price.
