Lucas

Lucas is a gifted alchemist's apprentice and one of Amicia's oldest friends in the A Plague Tale series. Calm, curious and quietly brave, he often provides the knowledge Amicia and Hugo need to survive.

Who Is Lucas

Lucas trained under the alchemist Laurentius before the events of Innocence. He understands the properties of fire, alchemical mixtures, and, later, the nature of the Macula better than almost anyone in the group. His careful explanations help turn dangerous ingredients into tools such as Ignifer and Devorantis.

His Role in the Story

From Innocence through Requiem, Lucas supports Amicia and Hugo with both intellect and nerve. He helps craft alchemical ammunition, deciphers clues, and grows from an anxious apprentice into a steadfast companion. In Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, his legacy is felt in the world's deeper history with alchemy and the curse.
